ST. JOHN'S LODGE |
|
PROXY OVERVIEW The Proxy is an elected position in the lodge, whose sole function is to attend the Quarterly Communications of the Grand Lodge and vote on any issues that may be required as directed by the Lodge. The Proxy votes only in the absence of all three senior officers of the lodge, the Master and Wardens. An elected Proxy should be a member of the lodge who has signed the Bylaws of the lodge (except if representing lodges outside the geographical boundaries of Massachusetts), and he should be able to attends all Quarterlies. A Proxy living out of state or otherwise unable to fulfill these requirements is of no use to the lodge. A Proxy may only serve one lodge.
